Getting There

You can easily reach the gardens via bus no. 2 which plies the Monaco-Ville Jardin Exotique route. You have to ride until the last stop as this is where you can enter the gardens.

The plants are strategically planted on various rock beds adorning the winding trails of the gardens.

Jardin Exotique or Exotic Gardens – Monaco was opened to the public in the year 1933.

The various species of cacti that you can find here come from different parts of the globe, usually from the dry zones of these places hence; the title “Exotic Gardens.”

Among these places are south-west of the United States of America, Mexico, Central America, South America, South Africa, East Africa and parts of the Middle East.

The cost to visit Jardin Exotique or Exotic Gardens – Monaco is €7 for adults and €3.70 for kids and students. For senior citizens, entry fee is €5.40.

Tickets are valid for Jardin Exotique or Exotic Gardens, the Observatory Cave and the Anthropology Museum.

Opening hours are from 9 in the morning up to 7 in the evening, from May 15 up to September 15. From September 16 up to May 14, opening hours are from 9 in the morning up to 6 in the evening.

Child rates are for kids six years old up to 18 years old; student rates are for students not exceeding 30 years of age and must present a valid school ID; while senior citizen rates are for those over 65 years old.
