Brief History
La Tigra National Park in Tegucigalpa – Honduras was originally designated as a national reserve back in the year 1952 before it was officially declared as a national park in the year 1980.
This is the first national park of the country.
It has an area of approximately two hundred and thirty-eight square kilometers with an altitude that ranges from one thousand eight hundred up to two thousand one hundred and eighty-five meters.
