The museum can be found at Esquina de San Jacinto a Traposos, near Casa Natal del Libertador in Caracas. You can get to the city by plane. Simon Bolívar Airport is 25 km from Caracas. You can also drive to the city with a rented car.

The Museo Bolivariano is open Monday to Friday from 09:00 am to 12:00 pm. It opens again from 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm. From Saturdays to Sundays it is open 10:00 am to 01:00 pm and 02:00 pm to 05:00 pm.
