Overlooking the lake, South Lake Tahoe cemented its claim to fame when it hosted the 1960 Winter Olympics. Since that time, the area has become renowned for skiing, but mountain bikers have uncovered the joy of riding the trails as well.
Mr. Toad’s Wild Ride
It takes some sweat and a good amount of effort to climb the 3,200 ft. hill, but it’s worth it to careen downhill for that promised “wild ride.”
Corral Trail is great for intermediate level bikers, but that doesn’t mean it’s without obstacles.
