France is one of the countries in the world that feature numerous attractive manmade and natural attractions. There are many things to see and experience and here is just a few of those.

Louvre Museum

Also known as the Great Louvre, the Louvre Museum is found inside the Palais Royal in Paris, France. Some of the collections in the museum are the Egyptian antiquities like The Seated Scribe and the Large Sphinx. People can also view Islamic artworks such as the Barberini Vase, the Baptistery of Saint-Louis and an antique basin used during the Mamluk period.

Eiffel Tower

One of the top 10 tourist spots in France, the Eiffel Tower has a height of 300 meters. The tower, which is situated in Paris has 1,665 steps. Stairways connect the first level to the second level. However, to reach the summit, visitors should ride in elevators. To make the spot more interesting, the city government installed high power searchlights in the tower.

Musee d’Orsay

This museum, which is situated at the Gared’Orsay in the Seine’s left bank, is known for housing French artworks starting 1848 to 1915. Guests can find paintings made by famous painters including Jean-Leon Gerome, Gustave Moreau and Mary Cassatt. In addition to the paintings, the place features sculptures made by various sculptors such as Auguste Rodin and Francois Rude.

Arc de Triomphe Paris

One of the famous monuments in France, Arc de Triomphe Paris is exactly situated at the center of the Place Charles de Gaulle. The monument has a height of 49.5 meters and a width of 45 meters. The design of this tourist spot is inspired by the Roman architecture, only it was a Neoclassical version. Beside the monument, people can find the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier created during the World War I.

Notre Dame Cathedral

The Notre Dame Cathedral in the eastern part of Paris is popular because it is the church of the Catholic archdiocese of the city. Inside the cathedral, guests can find numerous organs like the first organ created by Francois-Henri Clicquot in the 18th century. Disneyland Paris
